CCANO Services and Programs - Justice and Employment Services

Zachary Addison is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in restaurants. A generous and community-minded individual, Zachary Addison has been helping several charitable organizations over the years. Besides volunteering in the Boy Scouts of America, he supports institutions such as Vietnam Veterans of America and the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans (CCANO).

Serving the civil parishes within the Archdiocese of New Orleans, CCANO is dedicated to helping and empowering vulnerable people and families by providing them with an extensive network of programs and social services. With seven different services and programs, CCANO assists people who are homeless, families, children, immigrants, refugees, and seniors.

CAANO offers three types of justice and employment services - the Cornerstone Builders program, the workforce development program, and the Office of Justice and Peace. Cornerstone Builders helps formerly incarcerated people reenter society by equipping them with useful assets and skills.

CCANO and the Office of Justice and Peace promote catholic social teaching to the community and the catholic campaign for human development, which focuses on ending poverty. In addition, CCANO’s workforce development program provides unemployed individuals with access to training programs, job resources, and educational opportunities.
