Boudreaux Builders Makes Dream Homes a Reality

A Louisiana State University graduate, Zachary Addison holds a bachelor of science in mathematics and received several academic scholarships. Formerly the manager of a popular Mexican restaurant, Zachary Addison joined Boudreaux Builders as an apprentice in 2019.

Serving the New Orleans, Louisiana area, Boudreaux Builders oversees new construction projects, from design through final inspections. Beginning with the design, Boudreaux Builders works closely with clients to create a vision for their new home. In addition to performing various on-site visits, the company creates a personalized website that allows homeowners to follow the progress of their new home, make changes to design details, and share progress photos with friends and family.

Once the design is complete, Boudreaux Builders compares estimates from various tradesmen to ensure the homeowner is getting the best value, then creates a budget for the entire project. The company secures all necessary permits before beginning construction. Strongly committed to effective communication, the company provides regular check-ins with homeowners to keep them up to date on the home building process, as well as to inform them of any delays in construction.

About Zachary Addison

An alumnus of the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts, Zachary Addison later enrolled at Louisiana State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 2001. While pursuing his degree, Zachary Addison began working part-time as a busser at Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant in Baton Rouge. He was soon promoted to server and garnered respect among other employees, managers, and customers.

Zachary Addison was eventually promoted to manager, helping to increase customer satisfaction while concurrently keeping labor within budget. His other responsibilities included ordering food and alcohol and keeping track of inventory. In addition, he trained more than 75 percent of the wait staff.

Since 2019, Mr. Addison has worked as an apprentice at Boudreau Builders in the New Orleans metropolitan area. In this capacity, he is learning how to design custom homes and commercial projects. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a supporter of nonprofits such as the ASPCA, Boy Scouts of America, and Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. He also enjoys following the LSU and New Orleans Saints football teams.
